Last Saturday was my birthday. I got my first ever birthday card addressed to "Mother." Inside, in shaky (but still impressive for a four month old) handwriting, the note said:
Mommy,
Daddy let me pick this card. Thank you for taking care of me and loving me. I love you because you keep me safe. I hope I can move soon!

Since my cousin Kendall and I share the same birthday, my aunt hosted a family party for us, which was a wonderful way to celebrate. Afterwards, Nana and Papa (Matt's parents) came over to our house to have some extra visiting time with Luke. All in all, it was a wonderful evening.
